José Rivera is an artist based out of Oregon with a Fine Art degree in Painting and Drawing/ Sculpture from Southern Oregon University. His experiences in the field of art include gallery exhibitions, commercial graphic design/murals, teaching/mentoring and theater scenic painting.
His work consists of openness in exploration with different mediums and subject matters with intentions of developing a unique combination within them that can relate and reach out to different communities. Inspirations for his art are the different surrounding cultural environments and life experiences seen in day-to-day life. The motivation to his art making is to bridge the gap between different communities by making art more accessible to experience in the community.
