ADRIAN CHAVEZ
Born, raised, and based in Southern Oregon, Adrian has been studying both classical and Spanish styles of painting. His paintings take into account different elements to display the juxtaposition between dark and light, both visually and contextually.
He studied at Southern Oregon University, and is currently in an apprenticeship with artist Ryan Moon, where he aims to build on his practice. His experiences range from teaching private courses, gallery management, public murals and community exhibitions.
Adrian derives inspiration from many different painters, directors, photographers, and musicians. His favorites include Axel Void, Bill Henson, Crystal Castles, and Nino’s death in the 2011 film Drive.
